Pick up by private chauffeur from your Parisian residence for a transfer to the train station, Paris-Montparnasse (direct pick up from Bordeaux airport is also possible). Departure from Paris around 2.30 pm, arrival in Bordeaux around 5 pm. Here you are in Aquitaine, between rivers and vineyards.
Our tour takes you to a land of legends, to meet passionate winemakers. Visits and tastings are organised throughout your stay. You will stop at historical sites and take the time to enjoy the wonders of its nature: the medieval village of Saint-Emilion with its vineyards recognized by UNESCO. Day 1 – Arrival in Bordeaux

Arrival in Bordeaux in late afternoon. Our Ambassador welcomes you on your arrival and takes you to your 5* hotel. One night in a Prestige-class room. The hotel is ideally located in the historical center of the city. Endowed with decoration of French tradition, with architecture classified in the UNESCO world heritage, you will fall under the charm of its style, absolute comfort and tranquility. In the early evening, transported by your private chauffeur, you start your voyage with a dinner in a two starred restaurant. An unforgettable experience in a magnificent residence where the key words are French know-how and refinement.

Day 2
Departure at 9am

Visit of the Saint Emilion – Pomerol vineyards

Departure at 9 am from the hotel with your driver to the Saint-Emilion vineyard. Your morning begins with a private guided tour of the medieval village of Saint-Emilion, a true open-air museum but also an underground museum. To immerse yourself beautifully in this site and complete the discovery at your own pace, you have free time to explore the village.

Lunch: we propose a bistronomic lunch. After this gourmet break, the day continues with a visit to the technical installations of two estates, Grand Cru Saint-Emilion and Grand Cru Pomerol, followed by wine tasting, offering you an immersion in the heart of two great regional “Grand cru” growths, each with their own distinctive character.

At the end of the afternoon, around 6pm, after this tour through the vineyards and their cultural heritage, your chauffeur drops you off at your 5-star hotel for a further relaxing evening . You settle down for 2 nights in a “Signature Suite” room. Located in the heart of a 600 year old vineyard, the architecture gives a prominent place to natural materials that combine harmoniously with the fitness facilities offered by this wine spa, the first of its kind in the world. Immersed in the French art of living, you benefit from the services and attention to detail of this palace, in a warm and family atmosphere.

Dinner at the hotel, a new encounter with terroir and tradition. The chef provides bistro cuisine in an enchanting setting. The harmony and tranquility of this pastoral setting will complete your evening.

Day 3
Departure at 9am

Visit of the Sauternes & Graves vineyards

Departure at 9 am from the hotel with your driver heading towards the southern gates of the Graves. The Sauternes AOC produces a sweet wine, including the very famous Château Yquem, which was added to the official classification of Bordeaux wines in 1855.
Private visit of the vineyard’s cellars, followed by a vertical tasting of 3 vintages at the Château, 1er Grand Cru Classé.

Lunch: the starred restaurant unfolds its splendor! Discover a place unique to the region in a 17th century building, perfectly integrated into the serene landscape of the vineyards. As it is difficult to leave the place, we have decided to keep you on site to share another tasting and visit the facilities of the estate.

The afternoon continues with another château and the tasting of an exceptional Grand Cru. You discover an emblematic fortress perched on a hill overlooking the whole Sauternes & Barsac appellation.

Return to the hotel around 18:30: Enjoy the swimming pool and garden for a moment of relaxation.

Dinner: Gastronomic dinner with food and wine pairing, in a two-star Michelin restaurant. Our promise: a seasonal gustatory stroll inspired by the Bordeaux area and Aquitaine region. Time stands still for you. You are surrounded by talented people to appreciate what the joy of living is all about.

Afternoon to be switched on option, on request:

90 minutes of discovery flight and happiness in the middle of nature!
Take altitude and discover the Bassin d’Arcachon in a light aircraft. You take off for the end of the world! This flight will take you from the vineyards to the Atlantic coast and its splendid landscapes. You will fly over the salt marshes, see the oyster villages, the birds island, the tchanquées huts, the tip of Cap Ferret, Pinasses boats, The Pyla sand dune highest dune in Europe, Arcachon… A large 360° view will let you discover the immensity of the Atlantic Ocean, it’s a magical and unforgettable moment, you are a bird!

Day 4
Departure in the morning

After your breakfast, your driver drps you off at Bordeaux station to take your train back to Paris (airport transfer on request). Upon arrival in Paris, you are met at the train station and transported to your Parisian residence or to the airport to catch your next flight.

We hereby present a base for your trip. However depending on your response to our contact form and on your involvment, we will be able to design a travel book, just for you.

Basis of your stay :

  • The first-class return journey by high-speed train from Paris-Montparnasse train station to Bordeaux train station.
  • The tour is organized from and to your residence in Paris. For all other cities in France or abroad, please contact us.
  • The transport with our private chauffeur – Mercedes E-Class (2 pers.) or Mercedes V-Class (6 pers.). All other vehicules on request.
  • Our prices include all transport expenses (petrol, toll, others) departing from Bordeaux.
  • Our concierge service. Passages Secrets is at your disposal during your entire journey.

Day 1 Arrival

Day 2

  • Guided visit of Saint-Emilion village and free time in the village.
  • Bistronomic lunch : 3 courses, 2 glasses of wine, mineral or sparkling water and coffee included.
  • Private visit of the technical installations followed by a tasting in a Château Grand Cru St-Emilion or Pomerol.
  • Admission fees to all visited sites.
  • Tasting of the vineyards of 2 Grands Crus at the Châteaux.
  • Transfer to the 5-star Hotel Les Sources de Caudalie.
  • 2 hotel nights – 5-star hotel – Signature Suite – breakfast included.
  • Dinner at La Table du Terroir, not included.

Day 3

  • Departure from the hotel at 9.00am.
  • Oenology tour around the wines of Sauternes and Graves; Private visit of the technical installations followed by a vertical tasting of 3 vintages at the Château – Guiraud, 1er Grand Cru Classe 1855 Sauternes.
  • Bistronomic lunch at the Château.
  • Private visit of the technical installations followed by a tasting at Château Doisy-Daëne*, second Grand Cru Classé 1855 Barsac-Sauternes.
  • Transfer to the Hotel Les Sources de Caudalie*****.
  • Free dinner , booking on request to dine at : 2-star Michelin gastronomic Restaurant 2 étoiles Michelin – Food and wine pairing menu.

Day 4

  • Free morning at the Hotel.
  • Departure from the Hotel around 11am – Transfer from the Hotel to Bordeaux train station.
  • Arrival in Paris – Transfer from Paris-Montparnasse train station to your residence in Paris.
