Day 1

Morning: Departure from Paris at 7.30am to drive to the first site, the Château d’Azay-le-Rideau. Built on an island in the middle of the Indre River, the castle is a subtle blend of French traditions and innovative decorations from Italy, a true icon of the new building techniques of the sixteenth century.
Its park, conceived in the second half of the nineteenth century, remains a true jewel from nature.
Arrival at around 10.30 am, then visit of the castle (1.5 hour).

Lunch: In an enchanting setting, the Michelin-starred restaurant is nestled in a wooded park with a French-style garden. We did not take the horse-drawn carriage out to take you to the castle, as it is only twenty minutes away!

Afternoon: Visit of the Château d’Amboise. The promenade starts with the chapel of the castle where Leonardo da Vinci is buried. You will then enter one of the residences of the kings of France, where the French rulers such as Charles VIII, François Ist and Queen Anne of Brittany stayed.
Next halt: The Château of Chenonceau, the famous Château des Dames, the Ladies Château, which must be seen to be believed! We reserve you a moment of wine tasting with a visit to the historic cellars with its Touraine AOC wines, white, red or rosé, whose quality has never faltered since the Middle-Ages.

Evening and night in a 4-star hotel: Time stands still, and the magic of the place gives the irresistible desire to take the time to live. This beautiful country house designed for pleasure and relaxation opens its doors to you.

Dinner: A chef welcomes you to share his passion for the excellence of the local regional cuisine.

Day 2

Morning: Departure from your hotel at 9.30am accompanied by your guide.
The hotel faces the Château of Chambord. You enter a universe where Leonardo da Vinci’s spirit is still palpable. We escort you on a journey through 500 years of history.

For lunch, you will take the road to taste and savour foods which perfectly illustrate the French lifestyle. In an old hunting lodge built in the nineteenth century, here is another moment to relax between history and gastronomy. The restaurant is a two-star Michelin restaurant. Chef Rémy Giraud’s dishes are always creative, an ode to French heritage. Everything is gathered here for a tasty and generous walk.

Afternoon: To complete your getaway, we transport you to the artistic gardens of the Domaine of Chaumont-sur-Loire. Every year, the park is transformed to offer a unique experience. A guaranteed finale to an amazing escapade!

Late afternoon: It is time regretfully to take the road home. We will take the fastest route to return to your place of residence in Paris (about 220 km).
