French Decor Home Style is a tour animated by our Ambassadors, passionate interior design specialists. At the heart of French architecture, our tour covers the decorative, textile and fine arts. You will visit confidential Parisian museums full of treasures. Then we will guide you through marvellous showrooms to see the fashionable fabric and wallpaper collections of France’s leading manufacturers, chosen to suit your personal tastes. A few hours outside Paris, you will visit antique dealers, second-hand boutiques and meet design specialists who work on defining French style. In this dreamworld you will come across a multitude of styles and decorative ideas to inspire your interior design and find that elusive treasure, that object of charm. To complete your stay, you will be welcomed in high-class hotels and charming guest houses where decorating always rhymes with the art of entertaining.

Workshop The Art of Entertaining in private place

French Decor Home Style is an immersion in the world of interior design. For 4 days, you will share your ideas and discover the latest trends to imagine and put into practice the design of your interiors.

Day 1
Departure at 9.30am

Morning: Passages Secrets will take care of you, departing from your Parisian residence. We start the day with visits to confidential museums and treasures that retrace the history of the decorative arts.

Lunch: We will take a pause for a light gourmet lunch in one of Paris’ most beautiful tea salons. This is also at the heart of a bourgeois manor, built in 1868 by Edouard André. Now the Jacquemart-André Museum, a typical Parisian town house, which still retains the luxurious and theatrical decor typical of the nineteenth century life.

Afternoon: Paris is the world capital of upholstery. We will take you to visit the showrooms of the leading fabric and wallpaper Houses that play a major role in interior decoration and are closely linked to the world of Haute Couture. If you want to find the inspiration to change your interiors, we will be by your side in your quest!

Dinner and free-time: At the hotel, the choice of A la Carte is yours.

Night in Paris: 5-star Hotel. The most exceptional of Paris hotels. Much more than just a prestigious hotel, it is cut-off from the world and an extraordinary experience.

Day 2
 Departure at 8.30am from Paris

We will take you on a trip to sites that are as magical as they are picturesque. Less than 2 hours from Paris lies the bargain hunters’ equivalent of Ali Baba’s caves. Between the Parisian countryside and Normandy, the nature is unspoiled and authentic. The area is also an interior designer’s playground of second-hand boutiques, flea-markets and antique dealers.

Lunch: Bistronomic. You can trust us to bring you a scenic break!

Dinner: Bucolic, prepared by the masters of the house.

At night: We have selected beautiful domains for their tradition and charm. We will either take you to a manor or to a castle. The owners are lovers of fine materials, decoration and works of art.

Brocante-Ruelle-Giverny

Day 3
Departure at 9.00am

The whole day will be like a treasure hunt going from discovery to discovery.

Lunch: A gentle halt at an enchanted house full of treasures, to buy and feast your eye. Among beautiful objects, elegance and fine cuisine, live a moment of pure pleasure in an antique’s hunters’ paradise!

At the end of the afternoon, direction Giverny. You can either relax at your hotel and take life at your own pace, or wander through this tiny charming village, where the light at the end of the afternoon inspired so many artists, like Claude Monet, who made this village world-famous with his house and garden.

Dinner: At our Normandy Ambassador’s table. A gentle and convivial meeting to discover the quality of the local products.

At night: The guest house on the heights overlooking Giverny, surrounded by woods and orchards, combines tradition and charm.

Antiquaire-Marché-aux-Puces-Expérience

Day 4
Departure at 9.30am

Morning: An unforgettable visit, with a conference guide, of Claude Monet’s house and garden and of the village of Giverny. We will take you to the road again for a short ride to Paris and the discovery of the Temple of antique’s hunters.

Lunch: A late picturesque lunch at around 2.00pm, at Paris’ Saint-Ouen antique market.

Afternoon: The market has existed since 1870 and has become the most beautiful attic in the world! Antique and second-hand dealers, restorers, craftsmen, artists… they are all there! In a bohemian spirit, we will be there to guide you, suiting your interests and your heart’s desires.

Return to your Parisian residence at around 7.00pm.

Our prices include:

  • French Decor Home Style is organized for a minimum of 2 people.
  • The services of our decoration expert and conference guide throughout the tour.
  • The transport with our private chauffeur from and to your residence in Paris – Mercedes V-Class (6 pers.).
  • Our prices include all expenses (petrol, toll, others) departing from Paris. For all other cities in France or abroad, please contact us.
  • Our concierge service. Passages Secrets is at your disposal during your entire journey.

Day 1: Paris – Paris

  • 9.30am: Departure from your Parisian residence for a day in Paris.
  • Visit of 2 town houses.
  • The admission fees to all sites visited.
  • Lunch at Café Jacquemart-André with drinks including mineral water, a non-alcoholic beverage, tea or coffee.
  • Afternoon: Meeting with the fabric and wallpaper manufacturers.
  • 7.00pm: Arrival at the hotel.
  • 1 night in an individual room: 5-star Hotel in Paris 16th district (25 m2 Chambre Boudoir), breakfast included.

Day 2: Paris – Perche region (280 km)

  • 8.30am: Departure from Paris and visits of antique dealers and second-hand shops in several beautiful French villages.
  • Bistronomic lunch at Mortagne-au-Perche with drinks including mineral water, a non-alcoholic beverage, tea or coffee.
  • 7.00pm: Arrival at the hotel.
  • Dinner with drinks including mineral water, a non-alcoholic beverage, tea or coffee.
  • 1 night in an individual room in a charming domain or castle, including breakfast.

Day 3: Perche region and Haute Normandy (250 km)

  • 9.00am: Departure and visits of antique and second-hand shops in several beautiful French villages.
  • Bucolic lunch with drinks including mineral water, a non-alcoholic beverage, tea or coffee.
  • At around 5.00pm: Arrival at Giverny.
  • 1 night in an individual room in a charming guest house at Giverny including breakfast buffet.

Day 4: Giverny – Paris (80 km)

  • 9.30am: Departure from the guest house.
  • Visit of the village of Giverny and Claude Monet’s house and garden.
  • 1.00pm: Departure from Giverny.
  • 2.00pm: Bistronomic lunch at the Paris Saint-Ouen antiques and flea-markets. Drinks including mineral water, a non-alcoholic beverage, tea or coffee.
  • Return to your Parisian residence.

Our prices do not include:

  • Day 1: Dinner with Menu à la Carte.
  • Day 3: Dinner at our Normandy Ambassadors’ table.
  • Wine and alcoholic drinks during the meals.
  • Drinks consumed in your rooms.
  • Your personal expenses.

For larger objects, we will take care of their delivery to your French residence or abroad. The cost of this service will be at your charge.
