Cookies and trackers
A “cookie” is a text file that automatically stores information about your browser’s navigation on a website for 12 months, which you can read, delete or modify. It cannot be used to retrieve personal data from your hard drive, install a virus, be executed, read your email address or provide personal information.
The “cookie” is placed, during a visit to the Website, by the Passages Secrets server, on the user’s hard disk temporarily (“session cookie”, stored for the duration of the Website visit) or permanently (“permanent cookie”). In general, the “cookie” contains an identification number or code that allows the Website to recognize the user when they return to the Website. “Cookies” are not personal and only allow you to know the number of clicks of each user. To analyze the behavior of users of the Passages Secrets Website, we examine how you arrive and browse through our Website. However, this analysis does not concern personal data that allows us to know your identity or to attribute a user’s behaviour to an identified person.
External “cookies” linked to advertisements make it possible to monitor advertising campaigns to avoid their excessive repetition on the Website and to offer you advertisements similar to those in which you have shown an interest. The use of the Website is, of course, possible without “cookies”. Nevertheless, the use of “cookies” makes the use of the Website more user-friendly.
